Description
These RDX hand wraps are 4.5 m long and supplied as a black pair. The semi-elastic fabric has some stretch, with a thumb loop to start the wrap and a hook-and-loop tab to fasten it at the wrist.
Length and comfort
The 4.5 m length gives an adult plenty of material for wrapping around the wrist, knuckles and hand. How that material is arranged matters: smooth layers are more comfortable inside a glove than a thick fold across the palm.
For a smaller hand, ask your coach whether this length suits the method used in class. A shorter wrap may be easier to manage if you are left with excess material after wrapping.
Using and caring for the wraps
Practise the wrapping method with a coach and check that you can open and close your fingers comfortably. The stretch should help the fabric follow the hand without being pulled excessively tight. Try the finished wraps inside your gloves before training.
Follow the care label, close the fastening tabs before washing and unroll the wraps fully to dry. A second pair can be useful for consecutive training days, once you know the length works for you.
