Description
The SAFEJAWZ Intro is an EVA mouthguard with a slim inner profile and a supplied storage case. The linked white version is labelled Adult, 12+ years.
Fitting the mouthguard
Follow the fitting instructions included with the product, including the heating, cooling and moulding steps. The Intro can be remoulded using the manufacturer’s method if the first fitting needs adjustment. An age label is only a starting point; the finished fit still needs checking.
This Intro model is not suitable for braces. If you wear braces, choose a mouthguard specifically made for them with advice from your orthodontist.
Care and storage
Clean the mouthguard as directed after use, allow it to dry and keep it in the case between sessions. Inspect it for tears, distortion or changes in fit, particularly while teeth are developing or after dental work.
Your club can explain which protective equipment it requires for contact sessions. Our boxing equipment guide covers what to buy when starting training.
