Description
The LEONE 1947 Hermes is a high-top boxing shoe with a lace fastening, padded ankle area and reinforced heel. This listing opens on size 042, or EU 42, in black with red detailing.
Upper and sole
LEONE describes the boot as lightweight and breathable. The rubber sole includes an EVA insert beneath the heel, while the tall upper and laces allow you to adjust the fit around the foot and ankle.
The high cut covers more of the ankle than a low boxing shoe. When trying the boots, check whether the collar and tongue remain comfortable as you move into your boxing stance and practise gentle footwork.
Choosing your size
Use the manufacturer’s size chart for the Hermes model and measure both feet. Do not assume that an EU-to-UK conversion from another brand will give the same fit. Try the shoes with your training socks, lace them fully and check for toe pressure, heel movement and squeezing across the forefoot.
