Making the budget your own
The starting figures are estimates you can change. Untick equipment you already own or can borrow, then enter the prices of the items you are considering. The total updates as you make changes, showing how much of your budget remains.
Ask the club what it provides before budgeting for a first class. If it lends gloves to beginners, you may be able to try a session before buying your own. The junior list should be checked against the coach’s equipment requirements.
Costs to include for a home setup
For a punch bag, allow for delivery and either filling material or mounting hardware and installation. A freestanding bag may also need suitable floor protection, provided it is compatible with the base. These costs can make a substantial difference to the total.
The planner does not automatically include boxing shoes or equipment for sparring and competition. Add those costs separately if your sessions require them. Print the completed checklist if you want to keep it; your changes are cleared when the page reloads.
